Our standard advertising listing on Isleofskye.com is all about catching the eye of potential customers and inviting them to visit your own website where they can find more details about what you offer and then make a booking or buy your product.
Cost
We charge £54 per year to have your business listed – a fantastic deal as that works out at just £4.50 per month.
If you have multiple listings we even offer a discount, the first listing is changed at full price and subsequent at half price.
Payment
Once your listing is published on IsleofSkye.com we will then email you the invoice. It can be paid by bank transfer, credt/debit card or cheque.
The Listing
The advert or listing includes 4 elements.
- The Name – typically your business or property name.
- The Image – a photograph of your property or a business logo. You have the option for us to copy an image from your website or for you to upload an image file (5MB Limit). We will then resize the image to 200 pixels wide.
- The Listing Text – up to 75 words to colourfully describe your business. Please create new text (not copied from your website) to describe what is on offer in a clear, inviting and positive way.
Your listing should not include prices, dates or contact details.
- The Link – a link to your website. Follow the ’More Information’ link to your website where the finer details of what is on offer can be found.
Short Term Let Licence
If your business type is either Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering you must also include your Licence Number and Energy Rating.
Adjustments
If you ever wish to adjust the text or image of your listing you can just email us.
Booking System
Members who offer accommodation can choose to be included in our booking search system. It has proven to be very affective, securing thousands of bookings. We strongly recommend that properties are included if they use a supported booking system.
